On May 18, NATIONSTAR and Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. (referred to as Huawei) held a signing ceremony for a comprehensive cooperation agreement at the headquarters of NATIONSTAR. The two parties will give full play to their respective strengths, focus on cutting-edge technologies in relevant fields, gradually implement cooperation measures in the joint construction of a joint innovation center and in-depth supply chain cooperation, elevate the efficiency and standard of cooperation, drive coordinated development, and achieve mutual benefit and win-win results. Wang Jia, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of NATIONSTAR; Li Cheng, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of NATIONSTAR; Yang Ping, Vice President of Huawei China Enterprise Business; Li Zixu, Regional General Manager of Huawei Guangdong Enterprise Business, and other relevant executives attended the signing ceremony and participated in exchange seminars.

In recent years, with the development of 5G, the Internet of Things, artificial intelligence and other technologies, the consumer electronics industry represented by 5G terminals, ultra-high-definition displays and virtual reality industries has entered a fast track of development. Constant improvements have been made in product innovation and supply quality, making it a key growth driver in the consumer sector. In November 2021, Guangdong Guangsheng Holding Group Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Huawei. Building on this foundation, exchanges and cooperation at all levels have expanded, business docking has increased, and fruitful cooperation outcomes have been continuously achieved.

The cooperation between NATIONSTAR and Huawei is based on NATIONSTAR’s technological advantages in LED display, backlighting and other fields, combined with Huawei’s capabilities in information technologies such as AI and 5G. The two sides will team up with advanced domestic and foreign industry-university-research teams to promote the official launch and inauguration of a joint innovation center. They will carry out technological innovation in Mini & Micro LED, automotive head-up display (HUD), intelligent healthy lighting, optocouplers and power devices, non-visual light sources and other areas to expand future business coverage, and further deepen business cooperation in the existing two major sectors of signal indication and intelligent terminals.

As a leading player in LED packaging, NATIONSTAR has always maintained a leading position in scientific research and innovation, and boasts rich practical experience in the industrialization and commercialization of innovative technologies. Through this comprehensive cooperation with Huawei, a global leading provider of information and communication solutions, the two parties have clarified specific implementation mechanisms, including high-level consultation meetings, dedicated working groups for cooperation promotion, expert advisory systems, training and exchange programs, and plans for the joint innovation center. This will facilitate broader and deeper cooperation across the electronic information industrial chain, further expand business scope, scale up cooperation volume, and promote collaboration in technological R&D and talent exchange. Meanwhile, the cooperation is expected to create a replicable model and benchmark for the digital transformation and upgrading of China’s manufacturing industry, contributing to the high-quality development of the real economy.
