Application Cases of NATIONSTAR LED Display Products

Recently, a delegation led by Professor Kristiaan Neyts, Director of the State Key Laboratory of Advanced Display and Optoelectronic Technologies at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (hereinafter referred to as "the Laboratory"), and Professor Fan Zhiyong, Co-Director, visited NATIONSTAR for a tour and exchange. Dr. Xie Zhiguo, Chief Engineer and Dean of the Research Institute of NATIONSTAR, Xu Liang, Deputy General Manager of Nationstar Semiconductor, Tang Qingyuan, Deputy General Manager of Fenghua Xindian, together with other department leaders and key research personnel, attended the exchange meeting.

According to the introduction, the laboratory is a state key laboratory approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology, focusing on cutting-edge research in liquid crystal display materials and devices, quantum dot and perovskite optoelectronic materials and devices, among other fields.

Prior to the meeting, the experts from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology visited the NATIONSTAR exhibition hall, gaining an in-depth and intuitive understanding of the company’s development history, technological innovations, and product application scenarios.

At the meeting, NATIONSTAR extended a warm welcome to the visiting experts.

Dr. Xie Zhiguo gave a brief introduction to the company’s profile, business layout and future development plans.

On behalf of the laboratory, Professor Kristiaan Neyts delivered a speech and spoke highly of NATIONSTAR’s comprehensive strength and scientific research and innovation achievements.

Professor Fan Zhiyong elaborated on the laboratory’s development in terms of talent team, research outcomes, open exchanges and other aspects.

The expert team from the laboratory also delivered excellent presentations on quantum rods and ultra-small pixel display technologies.

During the discussion session, NATIONSTAR and the laboratory experts held in-depth exchanges. The two sides explored potential cooperation opportunities around talent cultivation, joint platform construction, and scientific research project collaboration.

Professor Kristiaan Neyts noted that this event not only deepened mutual understanding but also laid a solid foundation for future cooperation between the two parties in projects and talent development. He expressed the hope to further strengthen cooperation with NATIONSTAR in shared research fields.

Moving forward, NATIONSTAR will continue to advance industry-university-research cooperation and further expand collaboration with leading research institutions in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, including the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Cooperation will cover technological R&D, achievement transformation, talent introduction and cultivation, and joint platform development.

Together, the parties will promote integrated innovation in forward-looking technologies, accelerate the development of new quality productive forces, enhance the core competitiveness of related industries in the Greater Bay Area and across the country, and make greater contributions to the development of China’s LED industry.
